Pink Saturday

Sorry I am late for the party!!!

Today for Pink Saturday I am sharing this wonderful pink quilt I found at a thrift store (my favorite place to shop!!) for a price so low I was giddy when I left the store!! Later the same night I suddenly felt a little guilty about just how little I had paid for someone's handi-work...have you ever felt that way?

Anyways, it is very much loved here....even by my boys as it is the perfect quilt to curl up with and read a good book.

Be sure to stop by and see all the other posts for Pink Saturday over at Beverly's blog How Sweet the Sound!

  1. What a beautiful find! Don't feel guilty for getting it at such a good price. Take it from a quilt maker, the fun is in making the quilt, and knowing that someone is getting joy from using it. So, you just enjoy your quilt...guilt-free! Happy Pink Saturday!

  3. Love quilts! So nice to curl up with. And yes, I have felt guilty before about things like that but not for long. If you hadn't bought it someone else would have and they might not have cherished it as much as you. Happy PS!

  5. You are most lucky to have such a pretty quilt. I am glad to know it will be cherished by you, know that, I know the maker will be happy. I agree with Tammy, it is good you have it and not someone who would give it to their dog for a bed. I am a quilt maker and the thought of that makes me shutter, and I know of people who have done that with a hand crafted quilt. Sigh.

  10. Do not feel guilty, think about it now belonging to some one that loves and wants it. I love any quilt, but never seem to find one at a reasonable price.
